Role Summary:
As a Compliance & Services Supervisor you will be a key player in the operational team ensuring optimum asset availability.
Essential Functions:
- Development and implementation of action plans to address root cause of all failures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Responsible for attending to breakdowns promptly and ensuring all work orders and planned maintenance tasks are completed Delivering training and support to move towards minor maintenance tasks being undertaken by operator level functions.
- Responsible for the accurate completion of all documentation
- You will act as first point of contact for Environmental Agency (including but not limited to storage and filtration systems, Water softeners and Engineering Waste Stream disposal.
- Responsible for liaising with Sites Water Treatment Contractors, monitoring and ensuring compliance to standards and legislation including Legionella.
- Responsible for Energy Monitoring, Weekly Chemical stocktakes and re-order completion.
- Responsible for Water Analysis, Cooling Towers (Legionella) and Condenser checks validation.
- To work with departmental leaders and others developing a pride in the work areas keeping them clean, tidy and ensuring works do not compromise quality or safety.
- Promote teamwork across all functions including production, technical and new product development.
- You will support all aspects of the operation to ensure products are manufactured in a safe, hygienic, and efficient manner.
- You are to ensure individual accountability for best practise and keeping skills up to date.
- You will also be required carry out any other duties as reasonably requested by lead engineer, production or shift managers or other members of the site management team.
Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure that performance of plant and buildings is maintained – aim of 100%. (35% of role):
- Planned maintenance tasks including daily checks (35% of role):
- Receive, prioritise, and complete work orders (20% of role):
- Completion of maintenance projects (10% of role):
Education/ Qualifications/ Experience:
- NVQ3 min / C&G / Time Served - with relevant engineering qualifications (Electrical Mechanical Engineering, Health & Safety, etc.).
- Experience of Manufacturing essential.
- Experienced in fault finding/diagnostics and possessing a strong health and safety ethic.
- Computer literate with experience of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel) programs
